Services We Offer to Families, Children, Teens & Young Adults

Families need to be empowered to see their loved ones with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Asperger's, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Deafness or Hard of Hearing, Down syndrome, Fragile X, Sensory Issues, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and other challenges are supported and engaged in the community.

Networking Groups for Parents Monthly meetings facilitated by a caring professional for parents to swap stories and learn from one another. Topics vary based on families attending. They’re free!

Events & Workshops Various workshops and events are held, bringing experts to the area so families have the skills and knowledge to support their loved ones. Family events help the whole family have fun and create positive memories.

Social Skill & Friendship Clubs Through a combination of skill building activities and fun, children and young adults work on their social skills and find friends.

Weighted Blankets & Lap Pads Weighted blankets for concentration, sleep and emotional control are provided to individuals with sensory issues. They are custom made by volunteer quilters. View printable form

Mini Grant Assistance Families may receive assistance to purchase functional equipment, attend workshops or enroll in camps or experiential therapies. View printable form

Friend2Friend Troupe A traveling cast visits area Middle Schools to educate students using humor and a series of skits to address serious topics like peer pressure, cyberbullying, stigmas, put-downs, cliques, depression, disability and how to ask for help.
